Sampoojya Swami Baba Ramdevji, the Yoga Guru, visited Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and leading research labs of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus on 18th September, 2017.
He visited the Amrita Multi Modal Applications Using Computer & Human Interaction (AMMACHI) Labs, Amrita Center for Wireless Networks and Applications (Amrita WNA), Amrita Center for Research in Advanced Technologies for Education (CREATE), Amrita Center for Cybersecurity Systems and Networks, and Amrita SeRVe.
He also visited Mata Amritanandamayi Math, and met the Chancellor, Mata Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, He was received by the General Secretary of the Math, Swami Purnamritananda Puri. It was the first time Baba had met Amma.
He talked to the students of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham about yoga and its health benefits, giving some amazing pranayama and yoga demonstrations. He pointed out that the problem with today’s people are that they talk a lot and act little. But Amma talks little and engages in big acts.
Amma had advised him to combine the ancient Indian sciences with modern science, which he is trying to achieve through his Ayurveda Institute.
