Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has collaborated with Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) and School Education Department to run a pilot project called “Redesigning Educational Pathways using Technology andInnovative Pedagogical Constructs for Scalable Quality Education and Lifelong Learning” in selected state model school.
Around 50 Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham staffs including 11 FOSS Club students, 15 MTech Robotics and Automation students, and 16 facultyy members from Amrita Center for Cybersecurity Systems and Networks, AMMACHI Labs, E-Learning took part in this initiative. In the month long program, the students were taught about Robotics, Computational Thinking, Cybersecurity, Life Skills, Vulnerability mapping, and Google cardboard.
As rural locations have limited Internet connectivity, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is providing free software and support to additional 22 schools in Andhra Pradesh.
