Ms. Jyothi Vaidyanathan and Ms. Nithya Shree, 2016-2020 batch of B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore Campus, aced the Codeathon and Best Manager events at the 34th Computer Society of India (CSI) National Student Convention (NSC) held at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore, from March 16-17, 2018. More than a thousand students from all over India participated in various events of the NSC, which included Codeathon, Web Designing, and Technical Paper Presentations.
At the CSI NSC 2018, Mr. B. Rudramuni, Vice President and Center Head, Dell EMC Bangalore Design Center, delivered the keynote address.
Both Jyothi and Nithya are active members of the CSI Student Branch of Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore, which is hosted by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. Ramya U.M., Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, School of Engineering, Coimbatore, is the Student Branch Counselor of the student branch.
Computer Society of India (CSI) National Student Convention (NSC) is the oldest Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) conference and symposium for CSE students in India. CSI NSC has been held regularly since 1986. Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore, hosted the 29th edition of the CSI NSC in 2013.
