Drs. Devika R. Krishnan and Remya M., Postgraduates in the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Amrita School of Dentistry, have won the best scientific paper award for presenting scientific papers at the 14th CAESOK Midterm Conference and 6th PG Convention, held at Hotel Arcadia, Kottayam, during March 12-13, 2016.
Dr. Devika and Dr. Remya presented original studies. Dr. Devika’s paper was titled, ‘”Influence of Instrument Taper on the Fracture Susceptibility of Maxillary First Premolar”, guided by Dr. Prabath Singh, Professor and Head, Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics and Dr. Remya’s paper was titled, “Evaluation of Root Canal Morphology of Maxillary First Premolar using CBCT‘”, guided by Dr. Priya R., Reader, Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics.
Dr. Devika and Dr. Remya expressed their sincere gratitude for the support and guidance from all the faculty members of the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. They also thanked the faculty and staff of the departments of Oral Medicine & Radiology, Periodontics and Amrita Center for Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine, for their timely help and support. All the PGs from the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Amrita School of Dentistry, have presented on various topics at the conference.
