Amrita student, Deepak N. of Semester 8 BTech Electronics and Communication Engineering and Chair of Amrita IEEE Student Branch of Amritapuri Campus, recently won the coveted Richard E. Merwin Scholarship Award from IEEE CS, Washington D.C., USA.
The award consists of a customized certificate from IEEE headquarters in the USA, USD 1000 cash, three years of free IEEE Computer Society membership and an opportunity to serve as a student ambassador for the IEEE Computer Society.
