Ms. Vandana Nimbalkar, a third year student from the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru, has been selected for the 2016 Tech Top MIT Make in India Bootcamp to be held from 31^st July, 2016 to 20^th August, 2016. She is among the top 15 students selected for this program. The learning objectives of this program are Making Skills, Problem Identification, Design Thinking (Solution Development), Team Working, Presentation Skills and Startup Skills. 

Vandana also holds the award of the Amrita Tide Innovation Contest through which she received Rs. 50000 as a seed grant. She has interned at NASSCOM to develop an IOT database and at the college start-up VOPO technologies for a duration of 6 months during her VI Semester.
