Yash Khare of the amFOSS club of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, an active contributor to FOSSASIA, attended the annual FOSSASIA Summit, Singapore, from March 14-17, 2019.

FOSSASIA is a community of Asian developers with an aim to bring together amazing people to create, develop, design and make innovations in the field of Open Technology, as well as develop software having an impact on an essential social change, using a wide range of technologies.

At the summit, Yash was a part of the runners-up team in the UNESCO-FOSSASIA Hackathon (IBM Cloud Category). He also worked with FOSSASIA as part of a summer internship program.
