Faculty members and IPA-SF student members of Amrita School of Pharmacy, Kochi, participated in the Annual General Body Meeting of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), Kerala State Branch, held at Century Club Ernakulam on September 09, 2023.

The meeting was lively with thought-provoking panel discussions and symposiums.

Dr. Sabitha M., Principal, Amrita School of Pharmacy was among the panelists who deliberated on the topic – National Education Policy 2020 : Way Forward. The other senior faculty members of the panel included Dr. Bindu M P, Mr. M R Pradeep, Dr. Fels Sabu, Dr. Jeny Samuel and Dr. Sabu M C.

Dr. M.S. Sudheesh, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutics, Amrita School of Pharmacy chaired the symposium on – A Glimpse of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Health Care – Today and Tomorrow.

The general body meeting also discussed on the activities and future needs and plans of various forums of IPA including education, community pharmacy, industry forums etc.
