At the 14th ISP National PG Convention held at D. Y. Patil School of Dentistry, Navi Mumbai from March 13 – 15, 2015, postgraduate trainees from the Department of Periodontics, Amrita School of Dentistry won the first and second highest scores in the scientific paper / poster presentation session, from among a total of 400 papers and 120 posters presented by postgraduates from various dental colleges in India.
Dr. Swetha V. R., first-year postgraduate trainee, won the highest score for her scientific paper titled “Interdental Bone Loss vis-a-vis early Furcation Involvement to Evaluate and Correlate”, guided by Dr. Angel Fenol, Professor, Department of Periodontics, Amrita School of Dentistry.
Dr. Anil Poulouse, first-year postgraduate trainee, won the second highest score for his scientific paper titled “Vitamin D and Calcium Supplement Adjunct to Nonsurgical Periodontal Therapy”, guided by Dr. Jayachandran P., Professor and Head, Department of Periodontics, Amrita School of Dentistry.
Dr. Nicky Haridas, first-year postgraduate trainee, won highest score for the scientific poster titled “Musaparadisica: Anti-calculus Agent to Explore the Unexplored” guided by Dr. Rajesh Vyloppillil , Professor, Department of Periodontics, Amrita School of Dentistry.
