Amrita School of Business, Kochi, and Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology’s Department of Management Studies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance knowledge exchange among students. The agreement was formalized during a workshop on Continuous Management Education.
The workshop, jointly organized by the two institutions, was inaugurated by Sampujya Swami Purnamritananda Puri, General Secretary of Mata Amritanandamayi Math. The sessions featured insights from industry and academic experts, including Dr. Manu Melwin Joy, Assistant Professor at the School of Management Studies, CUSAT, Dileep Choyappally, Vice President and Head of HR at NeST Digital Pvt. Ltd., and Vivek Suresh, Co-founder and CEO of YLogx Pvt. Ltd. Faculty members from Amrita School of Business, Dr. Rajiv Prasad and Dr. Rejikumar G, also led discussions during the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rajiv Prasad, Principal of Amrita School of Business, said the MoU marks a significant step towards creating an enriching academic environment. He said the partnership would enable students from both institutions to engage in meaningful academic exchanges, fostering innovative thinking and practical insights.
Dr. S. Franklin John, Professor and Head of the Department of Management Studies at Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology, said the collaboration would enhance educational opportunities and provide a platform for students to share ideas and knowledge. The MoU is expected to strengthen joint initiatives, including student exchange programs and collaborative research projects.
The workshop concluded with a cultural program presented by students, adding a celebratory note to the event. The agreement between the two institutions is set to create new avenues for academic collaboration and experiential learning
