As a part of Colloquia Series Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore organized a talk session on November 3, 2023 with Mr. Praveen S., Digital Marketer, iQuantM Technologies; Mr. Vignesh Marketing Lead, iQuantM Technologies and Mr. Hariharan R., Content Writer, iQuantM Technologies on the topic “From Data to Delight: How AI Reshapes Customer Experiences in Marketing”.
Mr. Vignesh discussed the importance of AI in marketing and its potential to revolutionize the industry. He began by debunking the myth that AI will replace marketers, arguing that AI is not perfect or error-free and that it can be biased by the data it is trained on. However, he also emphasized that AI can be a powerful tool for marketers, helping us to automate tasks, personalize campaigns, and target ads more effectively.
He then discussed some of the specific ways that AI is being used in marketing today. He highlighted the use of AI to automate tasks such as sending personalized SMS messages and push notifications, improving the performance of Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google Ads ads, and setting dynamic prices. He also discussed the use of AI to generate product recommendations, create and distribute marketing content, and understand customer behaviour.
Mr. Hariharan stressed the importance of content in marketing, arguing that it is “the source of life” and that it drives everyone’s life. He emphasized the need to create content that triggers dopamine in customers by making us imagine ourselves using and enjoying products. He also highlighted the importance of using the right words and phrases in content and of creating content with a business goal behind it.
Mr. Praveen discussed the importance of digital marketing and the role of AI in this field. He stated that digital marketing is a growing field with many job opportunities and that AI is being used extensively in digital marketing, including content writing, SEO, SMO, and digital marketing. He also discussed the use of AI to create more personalized and targeted marketing campaigns and to develop new and innovative marketing technologies, such as mixed reality.
Mr. Vignesh concluded his presentation by urging us to stay ahead of the curve in the field of AI. He noted that AI is here to stay and that businesses that fail to adapt to the rise of AI are at risk of extinction. He asked us to decide whether we wanted to be dinosaurs or not and encouraged us to learn more about AI so that we could use it to our advantage.
