The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education, Government of India, has recommended Akshaya Balasubramanian (B.Sc. Biotechnology 2014- 2017) of Amrita School of Biotechnology for nomination under the 2017 Commonwealth Scholarship in the UK.
Akshya’s nomination is under the subject of Molecular Biology, a rare national nomination by the Government of India.
