Amrita School of Ayurveda bagged second prize for the Best College Pavilion in the 3^rd edition of the Global Ayurveda Festival (GAF) Kerala. GAF 2016 was held in Swapnanagari ground, Kozhikode, Kerala, from 31^stJanuary to 4^th February 2016. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Vision Conclave of the Global Ayurveda Festival. 

The college pavilion was set up by the department of Rasashatra and Bhaishajya Kalpana of Amrita School of Ayurveda, under the guidance of Dr. Unnikrishna Pillai, HOD, Department of Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana, Amrita School of Ayurveda and other faculty members of the department. The theme chosen for College Pavilion was Rasashala- Ancient Ideal Pharmacy. The stall was designed in the form of different chambers of Rasashala, corresponding to each direction along with the equipment used in it. The stall was designed by the postgraduate scholars and undergraduates of the department of Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana, Amrita School of Ayurveda.

Global Ayurveda Festival (GAF) Kerala is an international Ayurvedic biennial event started to serve as a force to galvanize the Ayurvedic sector to aspire, plan and achieve greater heights.
