Team bi0s from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, participated in the Asia Chapter of BlackHat Cyber Security Conference, held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, on March 30, 2019.

Vivek N. J., Rahul Sani, Harikrishnan R., Adarsh K., Sowmya Potluri, Shruthi Dixit, Ayushi Sharma, Aswathy Sasi and Nimisha Dugyala attended the conference, as a part of the student scholarship.

Black Hat Asia is a place where the brightest in information security came together for a hands-on training taught by industry experts. It also had much cutting-edge research that scholars presented as Briefings. It also provided the opportunity to present open-source tools in the Arsenal and also the Business Hall featured top-tier solutions and service providers.

Much new research focused on threat detection and analysis in a very unique way were also noticeable at the event. There were many new security startups showcasing their products which was new at the event. The students of team bi0s got the opportunity to interact face to face with the forerunners of their respective fields and talk about the new research that they were doing.
