Team bi0s from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, will attend the ISITDTU CTF 2019 Finals on August 10, 2019, at Vietnam.

ISITDTU CTF is a international jeopardy-styled CTF conducted by Duy Tan University, Vietnam. Nearly 300 teams worldwide registered for the CTF including the most prestigious teams who have been pioneering in the field of Cybersecurity and research. Team bi0s secured the top rank worldwide leaving rest of the teams behind. The 24 hr long CTF ended with Team bi0s securing Rank 1, even with the most experienced global teams challenging them.

CTF challenges simulate real world cyber security threats in the form of challenges so that the players would be well aware of how the world is progressing in the field of CyberSecurity. It consists of challenges from various fields such as Reverse Engineering, Binary Exploitation, Cryptography, Web and Forensics. The entire team put their complete effort and dedication in solving these challenges and grabbed Number 1 rank.

Team bi0s is invited to play the onsite CTF to be held in Duy Tan University, Vietnam. The grand finale is scheduled for August 10, 2019, where they will be competing head-to-head against the world’s top 4 elite CTF teams and 5 Vietnamese teams.
