Ms. Devika Das, Research Scholar, at Amrita Centre for Nanosciences & Molecular Medicine (ACNSMM), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, won the Best Poster Award for her work titled “Anti-Cancer Drug Loaded Nanoimplant for Glioblastoma Treatment”, at the Nanobioteck – 2017 conference, organised by the Indian Society of Nanomedicine (ISNM) in partnership with Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. The conference was hosted by the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Trivandrum from 6th to 8th December, 2017. Ms. Devika works under the guidance of Dr. Manzoor K., Professor, Amrita Center for Nanosciences, Kochi.
The conference was aimed at providing an interdisciplinary and interactive platform for nano-scientists, engineers, clinicians, regulators, industry representatives, policy makers and related stakeholders to promote innovations and commercialization of nano-enabled products to address various issues related to health care.
