Elets Technomedia in association with DigitalLearning Magazine has organized the 18th World Education Summit & Awards. Dr. Raghu Raman (Director, IQAC, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham) received the award “University Providing Global Exposure” at the 18th World Education Summit conducted from March 3 – 4, 2021. Elets awards recognize inspiring creative work that helps students apply meaning to their learning, preparing them for further career opportunities and jobs that haven’t even been created.
On receiving the award, Dr. Raghu Raman spoke about the Amrita Center for International Programs (ACIP) which is the central point for international academic relations at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. It is responsible for the coordination and administration of international educational and research activities for the institution. To date, Amrita has more than 500 collaborations from more than 200 signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). Some of Amrita’s partners include Columbia University, King’s College London, KTH – Royal Institute of Technology, VU Amsterdam, the British Geological Society, University of Oxford, Italian National Research Council, Deakin University and the University of Tokyo.
