Amrita professor, Dr. C. Gopi Mohan of Amrita Center for Nanoscience and Molecular Medicine at the Kochi Campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, has been honored as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), London, for his outstanding contributions in Biomedical Sciences, especially in Chemoinformatics and Structural Bioinformatics discipline.
The RSC is the oldest chemical society in the world, and an RSC elected fellow is an honor that acknowledges significant achievements by a professional for extraordinary contributions to the field of Chemical Sciences. Being an FRSC is a strong recognition, not only in the Chemistry field, but also in the wider community. It will provide an internationally recognized framework for his career development in biomedical research for clinical drug discovery. His name will also be included in a list of recently admitted Fellows which will be published in The Times (London) newspaper.
