Dr. P. Chitra, Professor, Department of Child Health Nursing, Amrita College of Nursing, Kochi, was awarded ‘Rashtriya Gaurav Award’ at a Seminar on Economic Growth and National Integration organized by India International Friendship Society (IIFS) at New Delhi on June 9, 2016. She received the certificate of excellence for her meritorious services, outstanding performance and remarkable role.

‘Glory of India Gold Medal’ also called ‘Bharat Jyoti’ was also presented to Dr. Chitra for Individual Excellence in recognition of Sterling Merit Excellent Performance and Outstanding Contribution for the Progress of the Nation & Worldwide by the International Institute of Success Awareness (IISA) on June 9, 2016 at New Delhi.
