The staff and faculty members from Amritapuri Campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, AYUDH India and Mata Amritanandamayi Math volunteers, collectively around 1200 volunteers, joined for a two day Sabarimala Cleanup Drive held on 11th and 12th November, 2017. It is the 7th consecutive year that the clean up drive is being organised.
On the first day, the volunteers picked up waste and cleaned the Sannidhanam and related places. Different groups concentrated on various areas of the Holy Hill as they sorted and segregated the waste by type.
