A training program on Online Labs for School Lab Experiments, one of the educational research project of AmritaCREATE, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, was held at the Ashram Public School, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, on September 22, 2017. Fifty-two science teachers from ten schools participated in the training programme.

Suresh Dhandapani, staff member of AmritaCREATE, gave an introduction on Online Labs to the participants. During the demo session, he explained how to perform an experiment in Online Labs virtually. Later on, the participants got the opportunity to explore Online Labs in the computer lab of the school for one hour.

The program ended with distribution of certificates of participation and free OLabs CDs to the participants for future reference.

“Serving the society is serving mankind, which is the soul of Amrita Institutions. Excellent project. Need to specially mention about the simulation part of Online Labs,” commented Ms. V. Gouri Shankar from Sri Prakash Synergy School.

“Informative project. Online Labs will be very useful to students to practice and correct the errors and acquire the knowledge,” said Ms. Syamala Gowri from Saranya Concept School.
