As part of Amrita Online Labs training programme, AmritaCREATE, a research initiative of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, organized a one-day workshop on Online Labs for School Lab Experiments (O-Labs) at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Joshimath, Uttarakhand, on July 4, 2017. The training program was attended by twelve science teachers from three schools.

Mr. Chandrashekhar, Online Labs team member, represented AmritaCREATE at the training program. He described the significance of Online Labs and demonstrated the virtual lab experiments in details to the participants. During the demo session, he explained the difference of performing experiments in real lab and in virtual platform of O-Labs.

The training session session ended with distribution of Online Labs training participation certificates and free Online Labs CDs to the participants.

“Online Labs is good for teaching students. Our school is already using this website to teach students. This is helpful for the students to learn,” commented Ms.Chanchal Negi, JVM Vishnupuram Joshimath.
