On April 15, 2021, Dr. Shyam Diwakar was a panelist in the discussion, “Synergizing Basic Neuroscience and Neurotechnology for Developing Effective Clinical Solutions” organized by the Indian Institute of Technology Madras’s Computational Neurosciences Lab at their CNSL Meet 2021 along with IIT Madras’s Prof. Srinivasa Chakravarthy of IIT Madras (host), Mr. Kumaar Bagrodia, Founder, Neuroleap, Dr. Pradnya Gadgill of Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Dr. Gangadhar Garipelli of Mind Maze Labs, Switzerland.
At the event, Dr. Shyam Diwakar, Director, Amrita Mind Brain Center, also gave an invited lecture at 9 AM on August 15, 2021, titled “A Cerebellum Goes to Party- Dynamics, Behavior, Responses from a Modeling Perspective”.
The Computational Neuroscience Lab Meet (CNSLM 2021) is the 2nd of the series of annual workshops organized by the CNS Lab, IIT Madras. The workshop explored how computational neuroscience modeling can serve as a connector between basic neurobiology, clinical neuroscience and neurotechnology.
