A workshop on Techniques in Videography was conducted on August 8, 2015, for the students of B. Sc. Visual Media of School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus, by Mr. Varun and  Mr. Kannan, Assistant Professors, Department of Visual Media, Kochi Campus, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. 

The need to practice videography with a few latest video cameras and familiarizing with video editing softwares were highlighted during the workshop. The students got a hands-on experience and opportunity to conceptualize, produce and edit a short film and the same was showcased towards the end of the session. The scope for improvisation was suggested and students were enthusiastic to screen their films, despite an amateur experience.
