The School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus, in association with the Computer Society of India (CSI) had organized a National level Workshop on Robotics from March 3-4, 2020. The resource persons for the workshop were Mr. Niranjan B. S. and Mr. Srihari, freelancers in programming and hardware services.

The session started with the inaugural address by Ms. Anitha, from CSI, Mysuru Chapter, after which the resource persons started with hands-on session on Arduino and various sensors. The first day concluded with basic experimentation of LEDs and sensors.

On the second day, the session began with the experimentation on sensors such as IR sensors, after which the participants were instructed to build a line following the robot. The total of 120 participants took part in the workshop and were divided into teams of 4 (in all 30 teams) where in each team was provided with the robotics kit.
