Dr. Vidya Jha, 2^nd Semester MHA student at Amrita, received first prize for her paper (oral) presentation at SYMHEALTH 2018 – National Conference on Interdisciplinary Approach to Healthcare, held at Symbiosis International University, Pune, from May 3- 5, 2018.

Dr. Vidya presented on the topic “Health Technology Assessment: Opening Pathway for Implementing Robotic Surgery in a University Teaching Hospital”.

Out of the 90+ papers that were submitted, only six were shortlisted. Dr. Vidya’s study was done in collaboration with Gynaecological Oncology, Urology and Gastrointestinal Surgery departments of Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi.
