The research team at the Machine Intelligence Research Lab, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore, bagged the best paper award at the 12^th  IEEE India International Conference INDICON 2015, held at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, from 17^th-20^th  December,  2015. The team was composed of Sreekumar K.T. (M.Tech. in Communication Engineering and Signal Processing), Gopinath R. (PhD. scholar), Aparna S. Raghunath (M.Tech. in Communication Engineering and Signal Processing). Their research paper was titled “Locality Constrained Linear Coding for Fault Diagnosis of Rotating Machine using Vibration Analysis”.

INDICON is annual conference conceptualized by IEEE India Council in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. INDICON 2015 was organized by the department of Electrical Engineering, Jamia Millia Islamia, in collaboration with IEEE Delhi Section, at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
