As an external academic expert in the IQAC of Nehru Institute of Technology (NIT), Coimbatore, Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Vice-Chairman – IQAC, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, addressed a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on AI Tools and Implications in Teaching & Research at the college on 7 January 2025. 100+ faculty attended the FDP which was presided by Dr. Sivaraja Muthusamy, Principal, and coordinated by Dr. Naganandhini S., Dean-Placement & Student Affairs of NIT Coimbatore
