Nair, Vice-Chairman – IQAC, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, has been nominated to global leadership and editorial positions in the international professional body, Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2023. IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization with 4,00,000+ members dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community through its highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities. He has been nominated as:

• Chair of the Advisory Committee of IEEE.tv, an award-winning, internet-based television network that produces and delivers special-interest programming about technology and engineering for the benefit of IEEE’s members and the general public.
• Associate Editor of IEEE Potentials, an award-winning student magazine established in 1982 with a circulation of 1.3 lakhs, providing undergraduate and graduate students with content addressing global issues, career development topics, and technology trends. As part of this editorial assignment, he attended the editorial board meeting of the magazine at New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA on 22 and 23 July, 2023.
