In a collaborative effort to enhance quality initiatives, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham organized an awareness session at Dr. NGP Institute of Technology (Dr. NGPIT), Coimbatore. Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Vice-Chairman of IQAC at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, led the session on July 15, 2024, addressing over 200 faculty members.

The session, part of Amrita’s outreach program, was presided over by Dr. Thavamani D. Palaniswami, Secretary of Dr. NGPIT. It also featured addresses by Dr. S.U. Prabha, Principal, and Dr. K. Gayathri Devi, IQAC convener of Dr. NGPIT.

Dr. Prashant provided an in-depth overview of the new processes and changes in NAAC and NBA accreditation procedures, which have been communicated to various stakeholders. He emphasized the crucial role of IQAC in accreditation and quality improvement, showcasing best practices from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. These included IQAC’s function as a nodal office for accreditation and rankings, as well as its role as a publication coordinator.
