Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Vice-Chairman of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, participated as an external academic expert in the IQAC meeting of Nehru Institute of Technology (NIT), Coimbatore, on 30 August 2024. The meeting aimed to plan, guide, and monitor Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Enhancement (QE) initiatives for the Academic Year 2024-2025.

The session, presided over by Dr. Sivaraja Muthusamy, Principal of NIT, was organized by Dr. Pathurnisha T., IQAC Head, and Dr. Balthilak A., IQAC Coordinator. During the meeting, Dr. Prashant provided valuable insights into the latest processes and changes in NAAC and NBA accreditation procedures, which were communicated to the relevant stakeholders. His contributions are expected to significantly aid NIT in enhancing its quality assurance practices for the upcoming academic year.
