Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is supporting several autonomous higher educational institutions pan-India in terms of knowledge exchange, and hosting delegations who visit the campus to study the university’s best practices. As part of this IQAC mentoring program:

A delegation of 8 senior administrators and faculty from SNS College of Technology, Coimbatore visited Amrita’s Coimbatore campus to study the best practices of the university on 16 March 2024. The SNS team included Dr. P. Vivekanandan, Vice-Principal (Academics); Dr. M. Elangovan, Professor-Aerospace Engineering; Dr. L.M. Nithya, Dean- Computer Science & IT; Dr. Karthik, HOD-Biomedical Engineering and Dr. R. Rajasekaran, IQAC coordinator of the college. They interacted with Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Vice-Chairman – IQAC; Mr. Srikanth S, Additional Director, Corporate & Industry Relations (CIR), and Mr. Suresh Kodoor, Director-Academia-Industry partnerships, CIR of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Coimbatore campus. The team also visited various research centers and laboratories such as biomedical engineering, automotive, biosensors, and green materials.

Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Vice-Chairman – IQAC, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, participated virtually in the 7^th meeting of the Board of Studies of the Department of Information Technology (IT) of Hindustan Institute of Technology (HIT), Coimbatore on 16 March, 2024. The meeting was presided over by Dr. M. Duraipandian, HOD-IT, HIT with the major agenda item being the passing of the Curriculum under the new Regulation 2024 for the B.Tech IT program of the college.
