Prof. Prashant R. Nair, Chairman, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, has been elected to the Managing Committee of the Coimbatore Management Association (CMA) for the period 2019-2021, at the 64th Annual General Meeting, held on September 23, 2019.

CMA affiliated to All India Management Association, New Delhi, is one of the oldest management associations in the country, established in 1954 in Coimbatore. CMA’s primary objective is to promote excellence in professional management by promoting and developing best management practices in business and industry, educational institutions and individuals.

Prof. Prashant, who is an Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, has in the past held national leadership positions in Computer Society of India (CSI) and IEEE.
