On the occasion of International Women’s Day, faculty members from the School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, delivered awareness classes on March 8, 2019.
Dr. Haritha Chandran, Assistant Professor, Department of Maulika Siddhanta (Basic Principles of Ayurveda), School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, delivered an awareness class on the topic “Menopause and its Associated Complaints in Women” organized by Ayurveda Medical association of India (AMAI, Mallapally Area Committee) in association with Mallapally Grama Panchayath and Govt. Ayurveda dispensary, Keezhvaipur.
Dr. Leena P. Nair, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Basic Principles, School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, delivered an awareness class on the topic “Women’s Health through Ayurveda” at Nadakkavu LPS, Kayamkulam organised by Ayurveda Medical Association of India, Mavelikkara Area Committee.
Dr. Vimala K. S., Professor, Dept. of Dravya Guna Vijnana, School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, delivered an awareness class on “Women’s Healthcare through Ayurveda” organized by Ayurveda Medical Association of India (AMAI, Chengannur Area Committee) in association with Ashtanga Ayur Care, Pandanad.
Dr. Meera, Assistant Professor, Department of Swasthavritta, School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, was the chief guest on the Women’s day celebrations held at Indian Bank, Karunagapally. She delivered a talk on the topic “Women’s Healthcare through Ayurveda” followed by an interactive session with the audience.
