Dr. R. Suresh Kumar, Clinical Professor, Department of Neurology, School of Medicine, Amrita Health Sciences, Kochi, delivered an invited lecture on “Newer Diagnostic Criteria and Classification in Multiple Sclerosis”, in the prestigious European Charcot Foundation Symposium which was held in association with the National Subsection Conference ICTRIMS 2019, under the aegis of Indian Academy of Neurology, at Kolkata, from August 16 -18, 2019. He also chaired the session along with Dr. Kazo Fujihara.

Dr. Hans Peter Hartung (Dusseldorf, Germany), Dr. Ludwig Kappos (Basel, Switzerland), Dr. Claudio Gasperini (Rome, Italy) and Dr. Fujihara (Fukushima, Japan) were the other speakers. Dr. Suresh Kumar also represented India as the Medical Expert for the Multiple Sclerosis International Foundtion (MSIF).
