An Amrita delegation visited University of Texas at Dallas, USA, on June 25, 2019. UT Dallas and Amrita had already signed an MoU last year and are gearing for research and student exchange engagements between both universities. Some Amrita alumni are already students and graduates from UTD. This visit was organized by Amrita Center for International Programs (ACIP).

The Amrita delegation included Dr. Raghu Raman, Chairman, School of Business, Coimbatore; Dr. Krishnashree Achuthan, Dean, PG programs and Dr. Shyam Diwakar, Amrita School of Biotechnology.

Amrita delegation had discussions with the Naveen Jindal, School of Management – UT Dallas. UT Dallas Professors are also involved with Amrita School of Engineering programs and are extending newer possibilities for Amrita students beyond their courses and programs. UT Dallas students are planning to engage with Amrita’s Live-in-Labs® programs facilitated by Amrita Center for International Programs (ACIP).
