“An Indian Tale Box” – a series introduced by Amrita Darshanam, International Centre for Spiritual Studies (ICSS) – celebrated the auspicious occasion of Navarātri with little champs (6-9 years old) through the story of Devī Ma at its second storytelling session “Śakti: The Super Mother”. The simple, child-friendly and engaging story narrated by Smt. Amritha Jayan lighted the lamp of devotion in the young minds.
The interactive storytelling session presented the story of Śrī Lalithā Devī annihilating Bhandāsura as the super mother to the Devas and Abhirāmi Devī as the super mother to Abhirami Pattar. The story propounded moral values and the encouragement to have true devotion and faith in Devī Ma. The session also celebrated the Navarātri with young attendees through bhajans and activities.
The storytelling session became vibrant and complete in the smiles, joy and laughter of the little ones when they together shouted “Mata Rani Ki Jai!”
