Amrita Center for Cybersecurity Systems and Networks, Amritapuri campus, organized a two-day Expert Training Session on Security Audit by Joerg Simon and Fabian Affolter who are international trainers in security auditing. The training was conducted from March 6-7, 2017.

The session was completely hands-on and around 50 students comprising of both Masters’ and Bachelors’ courses benefited from this session. The students were exposed to various topics such as what enterprises use in their organizations, how they implement IT – Security and Compliance – Why and where they fail and where they benefit from Compliance and Standards. They were also exposed to the Open-source Security Test Methodology Manual (OSSTMM) and how to enhance the Security Management Lifecycle in Enterprise Organizations.
