Sri. Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma), Chancellor of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, will participate in the Forum to Protect Children Online, Under Patronage of Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. Having personally met with tens of thousands of young people from all over the world who have become targets of such sexual abuse online, Amma has accepted an invitation from the UAE Government to participate in the first session of the Interfaith Alliance for Safer Communities: Child Dignity in the Digital Age Forum which will be held at Abu Dhabi from November 19-20, 2018.

During the session, Amma will deliver an address and join other faith-leaders in formally signing “The Abu Dhabi Interfaith Declaration for Child Protection.” Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, the forum will host religious leaders, cybercrime experts, UN officials and heads of industry to hold discussions on social challenges and develop comprehensive solutions for protecting the world’s young people.
