“I have been placed in University of California, Riverside, to carry out my summer internship program from mid-May to end of July. I came to know about the program from my teachers here at Amrita School of Biotechnology who are a source of inspiration for me to carry out research. I think, my average high grades and good recommendation letters helped, along with a well-written Statement of Purpose (SOP). Also, I felt that my coming from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham helped my chances. I felt they were really looking for individuals who have a flair for science and would like to pursue a future in research,” shared Mr. Gurudatt.
