Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Head & Vice-Chairman – Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus spoke on “Best Practices in Higher Engineering Institutions” for a seminar organized by the IQAC and Teaching Learning Center (TLC) of Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering & Technology (MCET) Pollachi at the college on 22 March 2025. 50+ faculty from various departments attended the event, which was presided over by Dr. A. Senthil Kumar, Vice-Principal, and coordinated by Dr. P. Kannapiran, Associate Dean-IQAC of MCET. In his presentation, Dr. Prashant R. Nair highlighted the best practices of AMRITA, such as IQAC as a nodal office for rankings and accreditation, Amrita Center for International Programs (ACIP), and grace marks for outstanding achievements in hackathons, sports, culture, and community outreach activities.
