A team of students from the Amrita School of Dentistry won the 2nd overall championship prize in “Fusion Chettinad,” an inter-collegiate cultural fest in Chennai.Twenty six teams from medical and dental colleges in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry and Tamil Nadu had participated. “Once again our students have proved themselves,” proudly remarked their principal Dr. K Unni.

Fusion Chettinad was conducted by the Chettinad Health City located in Chennai’s IT corridor. The sprawling complex has colleges affiliated to a modern 600-bed hospital. The Amrita team won a special prize for the most well behaved team. “Everywhere we go, we meet people who already know of Amma and her work. We always take care that we behave in a manner that would make our beloved Chancellor Amma proud of us,” shared a participant. Indeed Amma would be proud of these students!
