Amrita School of Ayurveda students secured prizes at the International Online Conference on Macromolecules: Synthesis, Morphology, Processing, Structure, Properties and Applications (ICM 2021), organized jointly by Mahatma Gandhi University (P.D Hills P.O, Kottayam, Kerala, India) and Gdansk University of Technology (Chemical Faculty, Gdansk, Poland) and Wroclaw University of Technology (Wroclaw, Poland), from September 10-12, 2021. The students secured three prizes from different categories as follows:
- Dr. Sreelakshmi S. (Department of Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana, Amrita School of Ayurveda), won second prize in a short invited lecture entitled “Impregnation of Active Components of Ayurvedic Drugs into Polymers and its Biological Application”.
- Dr. Remya Rajan (Department of Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana, Amrita School of Ayurveda), won third prize in both poster presentation competition and short invited lecture entitled “Nanostructured Polymeric Hydrogel for Wound Healing Application-A Boon to Ayurveda”.
