Ms. Athulya Manohar, M.Phil. PG student, Department of Clinical Psychology, Amrita Center for Allied Health Sciences, and Dr. Gitanjali Natarajan, Associate Professor and Head of Department, Clinical Psychology, Amrita Center for Allied Health Sciences, secured best paper awards in the 44th National Annual Conference of Indian Association of Clinical Psychologists (NACIACP 2018), New Delhi.
Ms. Athulya Manohar won the award for her paper on “Personality Factors and its Association with Coping Strategies, Emotional Regulation and QOL among patients with Asthma” in the Health Psychology section and Dr. Gitanjali Natarajan won the award for the presentation on “Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Homosexual Obsessive Compulsive Disorder: A Case study” in the Psychotherapy section.
The three other scientific papers by Ms. Sangeetha, Ms. Vidhya and Ms. Aswathy, M.Phil students, Amrita Center for Allied Health Sciences, were also accepted and presented in the national conference.
