AMMACHI Labs was selected as one of the 10 young social innovators across India to present the work on using technology for vocational education developed at the Action for India forum in January 2012. The AFI Forum 2012 is the annual flagship event of Action for India that brings together successful social entrepreneurs, leading experts in technology, and interested corporate partners, to provide a wealth of networking and learning opportunities for those looking to grow their organizations. It was organized on Saturday, January 21st at IIT Delhi in collaboration with TiE, PanIIT and the Deshpande Foundation.The forum is headed by Sam Pitroda, Advisor to the Prime Minister of India on Public Information, Infrastructure & Innovations.
The presentation by Prof. Bhavani B, Amrita faculty and Director of AMMACHI Labs was very well received by the forum participants and by Mr. Pitroda himself.
