Focusing on disseminating knowledge on Indian spirituality and tradition, Amrita Darshanam, International Centre for Spiritual Studies is organizing a 10-day lecture series titled “Amṛtaṅgamaya 2020” from 8 to 17 August 2020.
It is beyond doubt that all of humanity is going through very challenging and testing times. Looking for a glimmer of hope, we see that the Indian tradition exhibits numerous examples of how individuals turned adversities into opportunities by studying spiritual literature and pursuing spiritual practices. Thereby, they transformed the negative experiences into something positive. For example, affected by the trepidation of death, emperor Parīkṣit isolated himself from the external world. He utilized the opportunity to learn Bhāgavata.
