On September 2 and 3, 2023, the Placecom Committee of Amrita School of Business (ASB), Coimbatore, organized an Alumni Boot Camp. The event featured domain-specific interactions with alumni on various topics, including trends in analytics, tax and banking horizons, investment banking, and human resource training and development.
Twenty ASB Coimbatore alumni participated in the boot camp, sharing insights on emerging trends in analytics, the importance of business acumen, and the skills necessary to thrive in the field. Discussions also covered the dynamics of a continuous working culture, focusing on talent acquisition, performance management, and industrial relations. These strategies are crucial for companies aiming to boost growth and maintain good relations with employees and business partners.

The event highlighted the significance of learning and development (L&D) and corporate social responsibility (CSR) in balancing economic, environmental, and social imperatives. Additionally, the discussion emphasized diversity, equity, inclusiveness, and belongingness, underlining the importance of these factors for an organization’s success.
