Job Description

  • Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham invites application for the position of Resident Warden at Ladies Hostel

  • The job responsibilities involves

  • Responsible for all matters relating to Hostel inmates’ welfare, their discipline as well as administration and security of the hostels.

  • Investigation of any acts of indiscipline through a preliminary enquiry and submit report to the Principal.

  • Responsible for proper maintenance; management of the hostel and its attached Mess.

  • Chair the meetings of the Wardens Committee in the hostel including Administration.

  • Manage the team of Faculty Wardens and Resident Wardens for smooth functioning of the Hostels.

  • Conduct training programs for Resident Wardens and Supervisors on relevant areas of hostel administration.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

  • Counseling students as and when necessary.

  • Collect information from the academic coordinator regarding the academic performance of those who are lagging behind and share information with parents.
