Job Description

  • Fluent in Kannada and English

Key Responsibilities

  • Logistical Support & Coordination:
    Coordinate all logistical needs for project activities, including training programs, workshops, and community events. Oversee the procurement and timely distribution of necessary project materials and resources. Ensure that transportation and accommodation arrangements for staff and participants run smoothly.

  • Relationship Building:
    Build and sustain meaningful relationships with local government officials, community leaders, NGOs, and other key stakeholders. Regularly engage with stakeholders to ensure their continued support and participation. Represent the organization at community meetings and regional events to promote project goals and initiatives.

  • Project Delivery & Monitoring:
    Develop training modules and lead capacity-building sessions for the community. Supervise and coordinate field activities, ensuring they align with the goals and timeline of the projects. Track project progress, identify challenges, and work to resolve issues promptly to ensure success.

  • Community Engagement & Outreach:
    Lead community outreach campaigns to raise awareness about the projects and encourage participation. Provide direct support and guidance to community members and beneficiaries, ensuring their needs are met. Ensure that community feedback is incorporated into the project’s execution.

  • Documentation & Reporting:
    Maintain accurate records of all activities, including financial data, attendance, and feedback. Provide regular updates on the project’s progress, challenges, and outcomes to the Project Manager. Ensure that all project documentation adheres to donor and organizational standards.

Qualification

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field

Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in project coordination, ideally in a rural setting. Fluency in both Kannada and English, both spoken and written. Experience in community development, education, or gender-related projects is a strong plus. Experience Required
