Qualification

  • A Master’s degree in Law (LL.M.) from a recognized university.

  • Minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the LL.M. degree.

  • National Eligibility Test (NET) or State Eligibility Test (SET) qualification,
    or Ph.D. exemption for NET (if applicable)
Job Description

  • An Assistant Professor of Law, possessing a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to developing and delivering high-quality content for assigned courses.

  • The required qualifications shall be as per UGC/ BCI guidelines.

  • Further, the individual should demonstrate a readiness to assume responsibility and embrace challenging opportunities, leveraging their knowledge and skills to the fullest extent. 
Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver lectures, tutorials, and seminars on assigned legal subjects, ensuring effective and engaging instruction.

  2. Develop, update, and implement course content and syllabi to reflect current legal trends and standards.

  3. Conduct scholarly research in various areas of law and contribute to academic publications.

  4. Provide mentorship and academic counseling to students, guiding them through their academic and career development.

  5. Supervise student projects, internships, and moot court activities, ensuring practical application of legal principles.

  6. Design and conduct student assessments, providing constructive feedback on their progress and performance.

  7. Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and contribute to the development of institutional policies and programs. Please note: All appointments will be subject to approval of BCI.
